Les Issambres
Les Issambres

On the beautiful coast of the bay of St. Tropez, between the Mediterranean and the forested hills of the Massif des Maures is the village of Les Issambres.

Part of the commune of Roquebrune-sur-Argens it is situated with its larger neighbouring town Sainte Maxime in the Esquieres Valley. But Les Issambres is a typical small bathing resort that has preserved its village character and is a peaceful and refreshing holiday destination.

Among the modern buildings there are still many traditionally whitewashed houses in Provence style along the narrow streets of the entire town.

Les Issambres has become known for its beautiful sandy beaches, for in the bay of St. Tropez rocky bays dominate. Along a stretch of eight kilometres you will find several fine sandy beaches – in some cases with shade from pine trees – with lovely, blue, clear water, inviting you to swim and to do water sports. For those who love walking beside the sea there is a public path to St. Tropez.

In the harbour of Les Issambres there are many water-sport facilities on offer (boats for hire, jet-skiing, water-skiing, wakeboarding, diving and sailing equipment). We give you detailed information and addresses on all these in the guest brochures in the house.
